Musical Core-d'Therapy Studio, 2009

Note.  I am taking a break from photography and post something I did in my college years.

This is one of the 3d perspective I did during my college years. This is done as my final presentation in Year 3. I'm designing a music therapy studio for children and this is one of the main spaces of the whole building. The designs revolved around human 5 senses:- feel, hear, smell, taste and see. The idea is to let children who are having problems with peers or those disables would be able to heal using music therapy. Therefore the whole spaces encourage children to use their imagination to play and explore. For example, the boxes on the floor, will be lighted up once someone touches it. The light boxes is placed randomly as to create a random rhythm and let children have fun finding them.

This 3d rendering have many flaws and the reason I post this up is to hope someone can comment and give me some ideas on how to improve my 3d renderings. Anyone? Haha

Spin the Pot of Gold

Daidomon, Great Eastern Mall, June 2010

New thing? New fad?

I am fairly new to the world of photography. There's still soo many terms like 'exposure', 'apperture' or 'shutter speeds' which made me go @_@

So, when I saw some HDR photos, I became @__@||||||||||||||||||||

Because it is damm nice and I wanted to do something like that! But I do not know how??! Haha.. So I went and research and see how to do it.. which I came to conclusion that it is actually a technique of taking few shots of the same scene with different exposure (commonly - normal, under exposed and over exposed)  and then combine 3 of the shots together in photoshop/photometric/etc.. which have the function to do so. Then adjust the settings and VOILA! 3 shots became 1 BEAUTIFUL photo!

I wouldn't be able to post any HDR photos here right now as I did not try it out yet. The shots have to be at the same angle so when you combined them together you wouldn't get any ghostly or weird images.. Therefore, I need to get a right tripod or a right support for my camera before I try it..

Stay tune..
